PROJECTS
PROJECT 1
Beth is a cross-country skier who has been training with the British Nordic Development Squad. She is also a champion roller skier who has been sponsored by the Trust to help continue with her sport. Go Beth!
PROJECT 2
Zak is a talent in the expensive sport of motorcycle racing. The Tony Loy Trust has supported him in purchasing racing leathers which in turn Zak has kindly used to promote the Trust with its logo.
PROJECT 3
Boyan attends the John Madjeski Elite Football Academy at Reading Football Club. The Tony Loy Trust has provided funding for him to purchase his training gear.
PROJECT 4
Alex is a young graphic designer. The Trust provided financial support for him to follow his dream of starting a part-time fashion business. Alex has begun by creating T-shirts as an outlet for some of his striking designs.
PROJECT 5
The Trust has been able to donate to Didcot Girls' School's appeal for a new sound and lighting system. The successful appeal enabled the School to install the new equipment in time for the Lower School production of Sweeney Todd and will, of course enhance further productions.
PROJECT 6
Ben is an aspiring athlete who has performed well at National Championships in both the 400m and 800m. "I would just like to say thanks again to the Trust for supporting me, I really appreciate it. My new kit and spikes have arrived and I am looking forward to using it all in the coming season."
PROJECT 7
Kerri is a cross-country runner, who has been sponsored by the Trust to enable her to continue running whilst at university. She has been able to join a local club and buy some essential winter kit to enjoy running with them all year round.
PROJECT 8
Jack is a talented triathlete, putting in some great performances at home and abroad this year, including 4th in the Aquathlon (swimming and running) World Championships in Mexico. The Trust is delighted to have supported Jack in purchasing kit for both himself and his bike!
